Dialup congestion if you are using the wrong number

A number of DIALix users are still calling the old per-city number to access their ISP accounts.

If you are experiencing problems connecting to the Internet, such as busy signals (engaged tones) or inability to connect, it is very likely that you have no updated your settings to use the correct dialup number. We announced the change to a single, national local-call cost number last year and you will need to have updated your settings to use this number.

No matter where you are in Australia, your dialup number should be set to 0198 333 887. This applies to both DIALix and JustNet dialup accounts.
