Second round .au geographic ballot

auDA have advised that the second round .au commercial geographic domain names ballot will be held next Thursday 27 October 2005. We are expecting to be notified of winners on the same day.

Unlike the first round ballot where winners are obliged to pay under the ballot terms and conditions, auDA is aware that some ballot participants now cannot afford to win any more names. Consequently, they have therefore decided to allow second round winners to choose whether or not to register the name(s) they win.
