54 generic com.au names released today by auDAauDA is releasing approximately 54 generic names that have become available mainly through payment defaults. The names will be taken off the reserved list and will become available for registration 18 December 2002 at noon AEDT.
For your information, there will still be some generic names listed as reserved. This is because we gave registrants 6 months within which use the reservation certificate and register the name. The last possible date for use of a reservation certificate is 21 April 2003. Any remaining generic names will then be taken off the reserved list and will become available on a first come first serve basis. auDA will not announce when individual names become available.
